1. What Branchory is
A private, invite-only place for family stories, people, media, and weekly prompts answered out loud. It is not a public social network, not a dating app, and not a place to publish open timelines for the world.
2. Free to start
You can create a free account, open a household archive, invite family, and keep stories without a credit card. Optional paid paths (for example interview polish packs or gifts) appear only where they apply — never as a wall on the home archive itself.
3. Your content
You own the stories and media you add. Household owners and members share access according to invitations and roles inside the product. Do not upload content you do not have the right to keep or share with that household.
4. No public feeds
Content stays within households you join. There is no public discovery feed. Do not use Branchory to harass anyone, break the law, spam, or scrape other families' data.
5. Accounts and invitations
Keep sign-in details secure. Invite only people who should see that household. If someone should no longer have access, manage membership from the product. Children's accounts and sensitive family situations deserve care — use adult judgment before inviting minors.
6. Service availability
We work to keep the archive available, but no online service is perfect. Features may change; optional paid add-ons may be limited by budget or configuration. Export tools exist so you can take household stories with you when you need them.
